Cumbria's weekend of wins!

This weekend saw a 'hat trick' of wins for county sides.

Saturday saw the Cumbria Senior Women win thier first County Championship game played at home at Penrith versus Hertfordshire with a 27-19 win. Meantime the Cumbria Senior Men where away at Blaydon taking on Durham and won 19-48 in thier opening County Championship game.

Next weekend will see both senior teams play away, with the men travelling to Whitley Bay on Saturday 24th to play Northumbria which is always a close game, whist the women will put in the miles to take on Leicestershire at Leicester Forest on Sunday 25th; both games kick off at 2pm.

On Sunday the Cumbria U17's played on home ground at Wigton and won 31-19 against Northumberland, thier next game is on the 25th versus Lanchashire at Keswick RFC, kick off 3pm.
