Keswick stalwart and Past-President Trevor Keough recently returned from Twickenham where he was honoured with a Outstanding Contribution Award from the RFU for Cumbria.
The Cumbria Rugby Union Board nominated Trevor for the award to mark his exceptional volunteer contribution to rugby over a number of years, creating a lasting legacy.
Trevor has made an outstanding impact on the development of his club, Keswick RUFC as a player and volunteer, and also his wider community, which has enabled more people to play rugby and grow the club.
Trevor received his award at a luncheon at Twickenham which included a stadium tour and tickets to watch the England v New Zealand match. He was accompanied by his son James Keough and they had a most enjoyable day catching up with friends old and new.
