School Rugby Managers - Cumbria

Exciting news School Rugby Managers now placed in Cumbria.

There are 2 School Rugby Managers now working across Cumbria. Karen Whybrow School Rugby Manager for West Cumbria and Thomas Maughan for the East.

Their role is to support schools to introduce, develop and grow rugby in ways that are inclusive, player-centred and aligned with the core values of our sport, teamwork, respect, enjoyment, discipline and sportsmanship.

Together, we are building confident young players, supporting teachers, developing young leaders, creating pathways from school to club rugby, and strengthening the future of the game across Cumbria including T1 Rugby the world’s first non-contact format that fully captures the spirit and unique characteristics of rugby union.
